Agri-input institutional commerce

A catalogue was useful only if purchasing, stock and store operations could fulfil the offer. I led the commerce launch with operations, purchasing and finance.

My role Commerce product launch with operations, purchasing and finance.

Why this mattered

An agri-input catalogue makes a promise about what a customer can obtain. Purchasing, available stock, store operations and finance had to support the offer on the screen.

Launch the offer and its physical dependencies together

The product decision was to treat catalogue delivery and physical readiness as one launch problem. A listing could not be useful if the purchasing, stock and store network could not support the customer offer.

I coordinated that work with operations, purchasing and finance alongside the digital surface. Product definition therefore crossed the catalogue, the commercial operation and the physical network that would fulfil it.

What this launch establishes

A customer-facing catalogue is an operating promise. In a similar launch I would define purchasing, stock, store and finance dependencies with the customer journey, then agree what must be ready before that promise is made.

The wider institutional remit involved different product settings. World Bank, JICA, Assam fisheries monitoring and Bank of Brazil are recorded separately in the supporting archive. Their names and a Tamil Nadu capability deck are not evidence of the store-launch result.

Reported launch scope

The launch report covers more than 2,000 SKUs across 200 stores within a 30-day build. The Professional Profile reports ₹2 lakh daily revenue during the first month, without a booked-versus-realised definition.

This is a reported launch programme result, not annualised revenue, profit or a personally isolated incremental uplift.
