The experience
During the second COVID wave, resource availability could change while families and field teams were looking for help. A shared list depended on people continuing to supply and communicate updates.
A resource maintained through people
I created the shared database and helped coordinate information from volunteers and ground staff. Bed, oxygen and medicine updates came from people working in different locations in India. The aim was to make changing information easier for families and field teams to find.
The database was one part of the resource. Its usefulness also depended on people continuing to supply and communicate changes. That connection between information and its maintainers is the part of the experience that remains relevant to my platform work.
Contribution
The contribution was a shared bed, oxygen and medicine resource database and volunteer/ground-team information coordination during April–June 2021. No clinical result is attributed to it.
